Sooo… I might be going to Austin, Texas in October? That’s kind of exiting, but the really surprising part is that it may actually be financially feasible.

Jenelle and I are hoping to head down for Austin City Limits music festival, with bands like The Eagles, Muse, The Strokes, Flaming Lips, Spoon, vampire Weekend, Sonic Youth, The Black Keys, Pete Yorn, and loads more.

This will require livin’ lean for the next couple months, but as I said: possibly feasible.

It’s still probably too soon to get too exited, but the idea is quite appealing. We’ll see!

Finally! I’ve been meaning to do this for a good long while.  Finally, there’s a place where everyone can pool their photos (and short videos) of group events for posterity and communal consumption. If you think you should be added to the group so you can post photos, and haven’t yet received an invitation, just let me know and I’ll get you hooked up immediately. Sweet!

Man, so much to write about! The weekend at the lake was amazing with the only possible drawback being that I had a killer toothache for most of the weekend.

Honestly, I really can’t think of another weekend that was packed with so much activity. There was swimming, card games, canoeing, fireworks, campfires and s’mores, paddle-boating, more than enough alchohol, plenty of sun, skinny-dipping (cold!), and of course- so much delicious food!

I took a ton of pictures, and a fair amount of video over the weekend, so I’ll be sure to roll some of it out throughout the day. I’ve got a dentist’s appointment in about thirty minutes, so I really can’t say what kind of condition I will be in this afternoon. Wish me luck, and I’ll have pictures posted soon!
