The horses were still expecting something even after we ran out of carrots, but not surprisingly, when all you eat is grass all day, more grass doesn’t seem all that appealing.

They were pretty awesome, and super friendly, although the distant lightning made them look a little sinister.

Discovered these horses while going on a party-walk during Nicole’s going-away party last night. Fortunately, we had a bunch of carrots we picked from the garden with us, heh.

Just got back from the Emma Lake for the second annual Clubhouse cabin trip. The weather was great- not too hot, and not too cool. We had a smaller group than last year, but I think I prefer the more laid-back feeling that promoted.

I had tons of fun this weekend, at least as much as last year, and without the downsides of Lake Gang ‘09 (leeches, hangovers, and my ridiculous toohaches). Good food, good friends and a steadfast commitment to maintaining the party-all-the-time atmosphere. Lake Rules are awesome.
